The SLHF Beer Tent is a great place to meet up with relatives, friends and neighbors that you may not have seen in some time.  Come join us and see.  To get to Mill Point Park, take M-104 and turn south onto School Street.  We are along the Grand River, southwest of the Wesco gas station.

There will also be non-alcohol drinks such as soda and water on hand.  We have not raised our prices in 6 years, so we’re still a great value for a night out.

Local taxis will be making frequent stops in the area, so leave your car at home and let somebody else do the driving.

Friday’s Entertainment:

CLIK is a Classic Rock Band out of Spring Lake. You can catch them at places all over Western Michigan. Visit their website to find out more about them and check out their playlist. http://clikonthisband.com/

Saturday’s Entertainment:

Local favorites Soul’d Out will be taking over the bandshell Saturday night, June 19. Soul’d Out plays a custom blend of rhythm and blues, classic rock, soul, blues and funk.  They play upbeat, high-energy songs that only a 7-piece horn band can provide.  Each member plays multiple instruments and/or sings with extraordinary results.

Soul’d Out plays songs from the 70’s horn bands like Chicago and the Ides of March, and funk bands like Tower of Power and the Average White Band.  They also perform classic rock from groups like Santana, Tom Petty and Rare Earth.  There is also some soul and rhythm and blues from artists like Sam and Dave, The Rascals, Van Morrison and Wilson Pickett.

If you have not heard Soul'd Out play before, or if you have not seen them in some time, you owe it to yourself to come down to the SLHF beer tent to check out this professional, top-notch group. Check out www.souldoutband.us for other upcoming dates.
