Civil War living history and cemetery walk

Saturday, June 17, 2017
2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Barber School

In the years 1861-1865 a number of residents from Mill Point (now Spring Lake) enlisted in military units from all over Michigan and went to fight as part of the Union (Federal) troops during the Civil War.

We welcome you to come see, listen and learn about what some of our Spring Lake ancestors went through during the Civil War. Sons of the Union will have speakers on camp life, major battles, President Lincoln’s impact, Civil War artifacts and local veterans.
